Luis Gabriel Gutierrez Padilla, Latin American Sales Manager, Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc. has won the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) 2023 Award for Spanish Presentation Excellence for his presentation titled “Integridad Mecánica en Evaporadores de Refrigeración”.

Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc. announces the addition of three new configurations for its A+Series® A+P Insulated Penthouse Air Coolers. The increased customization options in A+Pro selection software now include insulated penthouse evaporators with a fully insulated base, a pitched base on the unit, a dual coil penthouse in a single enclosure, and any several combinations.

Colmac Coil Manufacturing will be exhibiting at the 2023 National Conference in Long Beach, California at the Long Beach convention center in Booth #347 from March 12th -15th. Colmac Coil is excited to announce it will be showcasing several new A+Series® A+P Insulated Penthouse Air Cooler configurations.

Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc. donates a refrigerated trailer to the Northeast Washington (N.E.W) Hunger Coalition for immediate use in the summer of 2022. The new refrigerated trailer designed and manufactured by Colmac Coil is part of the Cool Pup program from N.E.W., which helps solve the challenge of transporting fresh produce from farms to 17 food pantries supported by NEW Hunger Coalition and their community partners. The goal of the Cool Pups program is to provide fresh and healthy produce to Northeast Washington community members experiencing food insecurity.

Colmac Coil has seen a move away from both ammonia/NH3 (R717) and synthetics towards CO2 evaporators in industrial applications, with their share of the company’s output increasing from 5% in 2019 to 30% in 2022.

Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc. announces that Jeremy Olberding, V.P, Colmac Coil was appointed to Colmac Coil’s board of directors, effective April 12th, 2022. Olberding will serve as an advisory member of the board.

Colmac Coil is pleased to announce that Joe Fazzari, P.E., President of Colmac Coil, has been nominated to serve a three-year term as a voting member on the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) board of directors and will stand for election in March 2022.
