Colville, WA – February 16th, 2023: Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc. announces the addition of three new configurations for its A+Series® A+P Insulated Penthouse Air Coolers. The increased customization options in A+Pro selection software now include insulated penthouse evaporators with a fully insulated base, a pitched base on the unit, a dual coil penthouse in a single enclosure, and any several combinations. These options allow for increased flexibility to match the building envelope, sequential defrost and increased refrigeration system redundancy, buildings with interstitial space and for penthouse installations that are off the roof and increase overall system redundancy.

The A+P Insulated Penthouse is an insulated evaporator that is available for all industrial refrigeration system types, mounted outside of the building, and is an ideal solution for cold storage warehouses and food processing facilities that seek increased safety and more use of the operating space. The dual coil configuration in one enclosure provides the ability to sequentially defrost the evaporators, and offer the end user more system redundancy. The pitched base on the A+P unit is designed to match the envelope of the building roof and is shipped on the unit. The insulate base A+P configuration provides the ability to mount the penthouse unit off the building roof or accommodates buildings with interstitial space, and is available with EC fan motors.
Colmac Coil will be showcasing an A+P Penthouse with DX and Recirculated CO2 coils, a fully insulated base and EC fan Motors at the IIAR 2023 National Conference in Long Beach, California in Booth #347.
