Joliet Cold Storage, a public refrigerated warehouse and customer of Colmac Coil, has announced plans for a Phase 2 expansion of their facility. The expansion project is slated to be completed in August, just two years after the initial opening of the warehouse in 2014. Along with additional freezing space, this expansion will also offer customers the newest technology in blast freezing, giving quicker turn around times for quick-freeze needs.
As with the original warehouse build, Colmac Coil was grateful for the opportunity to provide industrial air coolers for the refrigeration needs of the project. This Phase 2 expansion required 21 A+Series™ industrial air coolers equipped with Colmac’s low charge ammonia ADX™ technology.
