Colmac LP low profile unit coolers offer refrigeration system designers a low capacity air cooler which can be applied in a wide range of applications. Other commercial unit coolers on the market use small diameter (3/8”) tubes which severely limit the operating range of the cooler. Colmac LP unit coolers are built with large diameter (5/8”) tubes which allow coolers to operate over a very wide capacity range, ideal in applications with large pull-down loads. Copper tube-aluminum fin construction is standard for operation with HFC refrigerants and glycols. Aluminum tube-aluminum fin construction is available for DX ammonia. Hot gas defrost, electric defrost, water defrost, and air defrost are available.
