Colmac’s exclusive hot gas defrost drain pan system includes: highly conductive all aluminum drainpan and hot gas pan loop, top edges of drainpan are heated to prevent ice "bridging", bottom and sides of drainpan fully insulated, galvanized steel insulation cover, check valve between pan loop and coil. Defrost is fast and effective with the Colmac hot gas defrost system!
Optional long airthrow straighteners amplify velocity and straighten discharge air for effective 400 foot airthrow.
Speed of the optional VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) compatible fan motors is controlled by the building automation computer system in response to room load.
